Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Lapnotes ("the service"), you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Lapnotes is in active beta. That means:

• Features may change, break, or disappear without notice.
• There is no uptime guarantee and no support SLA.
• Data loss, while rare, is possible. Please don't rely on Lapnotes as your sole record of session data — keep your original RS3 exports.
• We may pause or end the beta at any time. If we do, we'll give you a window to export your data first.

You agree not to:

• Upload content that's illegal, malicious, or doesn't belong to you.
• Attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Share your account credentials or let others use the service under your account.
• Use the service to harass, impersonate, or harm anyone.
• Send automated requests at a rate that disrupts the service for others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You keep ownership of the telemetry, notes, and other data you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process that data only as needed to provide the service to you (e.g. running an AI analysis, displaying your historical sessions).

The AI-generated analysis is a suggestion, not professional engineering advice. Use your own judgment before changing kart setup, gearing, or driving technique based on it. We are not responsible for race results, mechanical issues, or injuries that follow.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months — which, during the free beta, is zero.

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced via an in-app notice.

You can delete your account at any time via Account Settings. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
